The car of pop star, Davido, was reportedly damaged yesterday by some over-excited fans of the singer. The ‘omo baba olowo’ crooner was at the campus of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for a First Bank sponsored event, Youth Excel, when the incident happened. According to Davido, who took to twitter to disclose this, “damn, they (UNILAG students) broke my car window at UNILAG. Still love my fans though. Bless you all. Amazing show.”

Jaywon gave a good account of himself as he thrilled guests to beautiful rendition of his cool songs. Other performers that night were Oyinkansola, Splash, Yung Issy and Ozzy Bosco with Dee Jay Puff Lala churning out the best of tunes. In all, it was a night to remember for a long time.

D'Banj, Olamide Record Song For DKM Album

Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D'Banj, has featured young rapper, Olamide, in his new song. The Kokomaster, as D'Banj is fondly called, 'invited' the former Toni Payne-managed artiste to do a duet with him on a yet-to-be-known track on D'Banj's album, De Kings' Men (DKM). Olamide announced the collabo on twitter which D'Banj attested to with a reply. Olamide is one of the wave-making Yoruba rappers in the Nigerian music industry. He burst into fame after the late Yoruba rapper and lyricist, Da Grin, died in April 2010. Olamide presently has an album to his credits. There are indications that D'Banj will release his new album in 2013.

Britain’s most senior Roman Catholic cleric says priests should be allowed to marry and have children. Cardinal Keith O’Brien, who heads the Roman Catholic Church in Scotland, says the requirement for priestly celibacy is “not of divine origin” and could be reconsidered. He told BBC Scotland that “the celibacy of the clergy, whether priests should marry – Jesus didn’t say that.” He said on Friday that he would be “very happy” if priests were able to consider getting married. O’Brien will form part of the conclave of cardinals that chooses the next pontiff, following the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI. Benedict announced earlier this month that he will step down 28 February – the first pope to resign in almost 600 years.

A spokesman of the late actor, George Esiri, was credited to have hinted that the former Village Headmaster actor will be buried in the third week of April. The late Nollywood actor died on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. We gathered that a delegation has been sent to the late actor's hometown in Abraka, Delta State, to conclude on the burial arrangement. Breaking News: Tonto Dike Kidnapped!

The fast rising actress and singer was kidnapped today in her home. The strange incident happened in the front of her gate. Eye witnesses said a black van drove and stopped right in front of Tonto Dikeh and three gun men emerged and whisked her away.
